Despite the wildfires going on in California, we were greeted with a beautiful clear sunrise.
Starting at the top of El Cap we make our way to the edge and prepare to fix lines.
I was curious as to why Petes climbing shoes were super heavy and placed in my haul bag....turns out he stashed two thick sticks of salami in there. The extra weight was well worth it.
